What a good set of pictures Dave. Bats are really difficult to follow anyway.

Cheers Bruce, Ive decided they're the species Noctule Bats after a discussion with other people,
some have gone for the Daubenton's species, they were deffo bigger than the ones that fly around my garden anyway.

Great pictures Dave. I watched a small bat hunting late afternoon against a blue sky last week. It had a large portion of one wing missing! The second web of skin between the fingers was missing, though the bones seemed to be still there. Amazed it could still fly and feed! This was at the Calder and Hebble Canal near Stainland Rd.
