Huntingdonshire District Council run nature reserve along with the volunteers at Paxton Pits. I have posted some pictures offsite of how they keep the general public and dogs out of sensitive areas and children safe at the dipping pond. At the moment it is 78 Hectares and in the next 10 years will expand to 280 hectares. All the brushwood fences are made from timber cut on site from managed areas all for the benefit of wildlife.
