Fifteen of us met at the Cabin for a really excellent
morning visiting some of the Reserve. The weather was superb after the recent
deluges.
We walked down past the weir and through past the old Tag Canal and the new Dipping Pond. A large flock of Siskin were feeding in the Alder. On to the bird feeding area and then along over the Calder to inspect the Ski Lake where most of the water birds were recorded.
Back to the warm Cabin for a hot drink and lunch.
