Took a walk along the canal from Brighouse and into the reserve yesterday. The trees are just showing signs of turning. Potentially, there could be some wonderful colour around in the next few weeks. Worth pointing the camera at?
Simon, there are plenty of good areas in Calderdale to enjoy autumnal colours, Cromwell Bottom being one of those, I think. Perhaps not quite as spectacular as Fall in New England, but still very striking for the short time you get to enjoy the colours at their prime.

We have a hybrid of late summer and early autumn colour here, rather fetching!
