Does every animal on the reserve have a name? I need to learn them all.

It's highly unlikely that this type of Vole is the same "Basil" as we saw in the past. average life expectance is 3-6months & rarely live longer than 1 year. But can have 5-10 litters per year. So it's more likely to be a Basil Junior!
With Popeye & other predators routing in that area, I suspect there is a fast turnover of individuals feeding there.
Very risky to come out at night, I think they may have worked out daytime - Humans - No predation.

Great to see what I think is a short tailed field vole. We need more of these little guys around.
