Bluebells in Freeman's Wood

Although not strictly on the Cromwell Bottom reserve Freeman's wood is just over the A6025 so close enough.

There are large carpets of Bluebells here.

They are a little late this year, but they should be showing well for the next two or three weeks.

Bluebell.  (Hyacinthoides non-scripta)
Lords and ladies (Arum maculatum)

A patch of Lords and Ladies were just coming into flower close to the road.

The one in the picture had just started to open.
