This afternoon we had a walk round and had one Willow warbler still in song a few swallows but did not see any swifts There were large numbers of Gatekeeper and Skipper Butterflies.
and this plant yet to be I.D.

The plant is Mugwort.

Great Pictures Bruce your plant is Mugwort and the Meadow Brown a "Gatekeeper " AKA hedge Brown two dots in the eye spot as opposed to one Many swifts the other day feeding above the weir
