From the undergrowth

A few from today, Small Skipper out in good numbers as were Ringlets a few Brown Hawkers also in the trees, birds are there, just hard to see. GWH

I'd say Reed Bunting - but it does have a cracking orange stripe above the eye. Had to have a good check it wasn't something more "Rustic" lol. Never seen the stripe that Orange must be the light!

1732 Shaded Broad-bar Scotopteryx chenopodiata. Larvae feed on vetch (Vicia) and clover (Trifolium)Present in large numbers last year at Cromwell
