Osprey Flyover



                                         Apologies for the poor quality photos, but I saw this today flying over the canal just outside of Cromwellbottom. I have my own thoughts on what it is but would appreciate ID. Thanks

    What time of day was did it go through and which direction was it flying?

    About 13:hrs. Flew towards brighouse and then back towards the lake. Did not realise until got the lhotos on the computer or would have taken more notice

    Length of wings & the rounded curve up to the front of wing combined with stubby head & tail...... I'd go for an Osprey!
    Good idea for a photo - can be looked at in more detail.
